Position: Archaeologist – Licensed Archaeologists

Courtney Deery Heritage Consultancy Ltd. is seeking a licensed, eligible archaeologist to join our dynamic and growing team. We work across a diverse range of projects, from infrastructure and renewable energy developments to historic building conservation, delivering high-quality archaeological and cultural heritage services nationwide.

The Role

The successful candidate will have professional experience in:

• Archaeological testing, monitoring, and excavation.

• Post-excavation analysis and report preparation.

• Working to best-practice standards and in compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.

Requirements

• Eligibility to hold an excavation licence in Ireland.

• Proven track record in both field and post-excavation work.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full driving licence and willingness to travel– the role will be based in Dublin but will involve travel to sites across Ireland.
