At Courtney Deery Heritage Consultancy (CDHC) we are seeking to expand our team and are looking to recruit a Senior Planning/ Research Archaeologist. This position offers involvement in all aspects of archaeological research, planning and consultancy in a busy Dublin based practice
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the archaeological planning system with a minimum of 5 years’ experience gained in either the public or private sector. A minimum of a degree in archaeology or equivalent qualification with a proven record of carrying out robust and transparent heritage impact and conservation-focused reports is required.
Key responsibilities include carrying out research, impact assessments, reporting, site work, consultation and project management. Consultation and communicating key issues to clients and external stakeholders will form part of the job description.
A salary range of €40,000 - €46,000 commensurate with experience is on offer to the successful candidate.
